Our ‘Zinc Saves Lives Battery Recycling Campaign’ provides the opportunity to reduce the amount of electronic waste going to landfills and to help save a child’s life. Every AA battery contains the same amount of zinc that can help save the lives of six children. Zinc deficiency is a global health challenge. Hundreds of thousands of children die every year from complications associated with zinc deficiency. Starting Monday February 19 until the end of June we will be collecting used batteries to donate.  Please send in any used batteries with your child.  They can drop batteries off in the box at the office.  Thank you for your support.
